Got Batman: Arkham Knight on PS4 and was treated to the lovely 'installing' screen. Why? IIs this really the bold new step in the next-gen of gaming console?Installing the game onto the HDD first then play it?And no, I still need the retail disc to play the game (I'm old fashioned, I like having the game in my hands) so what's the point?
I know the 360 did the same but it was an option to have the game run smoother at the expense of HDD space, but it was still an option to use. Now it's mandatory for it to install so we can see all the new shiny graphics and water textures on Bat's scowl? Fuck you!
We've gone backwards to the C64 era where still wanting to play a game 1hr from now was the only way. What was wrong with the tried and tested method of 'pick up n' play'?

Few things here. FUCK AI Art and DA's attempt to screw over artists in the pursuit of lazy monetary gains. AI art is the equivalent of ordering a sandwich at Subway, just because you 'say' what you want on the sandwich, doesnt make you the sandwich artist. Luckily they put our feelings first and opt-out is default on all deviations. Thank you to whoever gave me the 1 month of Core, with that I could add a second subscription tier, WIPs! $5 to see what I'm working on and the progress before the final product goes live. And finally. Commissions. They are still open and available to all and I REALLY need some. Christmas is coming, as well as TWO birthdays, and annual bills need paying (big ones have been paid but theres still a few more before we can relax). It sucks, especially before the big holiday season and I hate Ebegging but this is what I have to do. Commission me if you can, you wont be disappointed.

Haven't tried either the PS4 or the Xbox one but from what I hear they originally installed that to prevent reselling... until they got hit with the inivitable backlash from fans and quickly removed it
