Sonic X - Sally Redesign by Sonicguru Sonic X - Sally Redesign by Sonicguru
Since seeing the new design for Sally once she's derobotizied, I just had to make either a Sonic X or a Adventure style version.
Yes, I like the redesign. It has a more game-like appearance and she isn't nude anymore. Not that it was an issue or anything but hopefully some fans will stop using that as an excuse to hate Sally.

I've gotta admit, This is a better Sally Acorn than the regular Sally Acorn.

I mean what difference does it make? In the comics, She's completely naked until in the newest years now, She's completely dressed in clothes. I mean I wish Sonic and all the other male characters would start wearing clothes.(Well, There is some that are wearing clothes, But just roll with me please.)

I mean when it looks good we can also find different styles and appearances in comics, games, movies, and TV shows.

There was only a TV show were Sonic and Sally are just heroes/couples, But you know the rest. ;)

Also, You did great on shading that I tried my hardest to get it right. ^^; But I also did good on shading as well! ^_^

Just show this to :devHurrican360: about this design, Okay? Okay, Good job and do your best! ;)

I don't see why everyone likes the redesign. It's her de-roboticized Mecha Sally armor so basically, she's wearing her slave outfit. And to those who say they're glad Sally isn't naked anymore NEWSFLASH: she's NOT, and neither are the males. Their bodies are covered by fur which acts as a full-body leotard so clothes are meaningless really.

I know that you don't have a positive opinion on the redesign, but I kind of like the redesign. where as you would say that it's her slave outfit, I'd say it's more of a trophy to show she has defeated her Robotic counterpart. though then again, there could of been a reason for the redesign in the story, if the lawsuit didn't come in and ruined any possible chance.

But I can see your point. Your reasons for not liking the redesign I can see why. Though from what I've heard, the SonAmy fans were complaining about the design by saying it looks too much like Amy. even though they're the ones hating her for not wearing clothes in the first place. Some people have double standards I'll tell you that.

Heh, they sure do. But really, the new Archie Sonic comics aren't doing it for me.

Hmm... right, I only heard of the comic one year after the Mecha Sally arc started, and I enjoy the comics for its lore and characters, although in my opinion, the Penders and Bollers era, was hit or miss. The reboot might be what the comic needed, since it was impossible to please Penders with the policies he would of gave Archie if they do use their characters. Give him Royalties, well that would be obvious and I do think he deserves royalties, Ask for permission to use his characters, that while annoying, isn't a bad thing. But it's waiting for the comic scripts to be approved by Penders, and wanting 25 Years Later to be canon to the comic (Which is impossible without Censored  up the continuity) so he can make his Idiotic Fan... I mean The Lara-Su Chronicles canon to the Sonic Comic. It's where he crosses the line. It'd make making stories near impossible without causing a few plot holes and idiotic decisions (like having to revive Locke, who sacrificed himself to save his son in Enerjak Rising, just so the 25 Years Later will be canon. it'd make the sacrifice pointless shock-value.) So was there really any other way we could of saved the old continuity, besides making Penders lose the lawsuit, which didn't work out very well. either way, it was a lose lose situation.

I think the reboot is OK, but thanks to SEGA, they won't allow things that would make the comic better, like character development. Made me wonder if SEGA of America would man up and take control of the Sonic franchise, since Sonic is failing in Japan.

Yeah, Kenny should have reviewed his 25 Years Later arc like he was friggen St. Nic.

However, I DO believe they could've saved the old continuity by, uhh I don't know, TALKING IT OUT LIKE FRIGGEN ADULTS AND NOT FRIGGEN CHILDREN!!!!! They could have compromised, discussed their problems, but NO they had to be FRIGGEN ingrates and destroy a perfectly good comic. I'm serious, Penders, the guys at Archie, and SEGA have to be the most selfish people in the media world for ruining a comic that has brought joy to many for the longest time.

So really, NO, the comic DIDN'T need a reboot OR the 2 year Mecha Sally arc, but you know what, they blew it! So now, until they realize how stupid they were and make up, I'm gonna sit here and watch the comic disintegrate like the Roman Empire.

Wait, who's Kenny, I'm just asking.

I know, but negotiations would of fell flat pretty fast, some people are just too greedy to make a compromise. I wouldn't think a comic book company with a history of not paying writers, a writer who has a huge ego complex, and a game company who just wants to advertise their mascot to sell more games.

But true, they should of negotiated something. Lawsuits are a thing that nobody wants, but nobody wants to lose.

OK. I know there's the Lost Hedgehog Tales, which tells you Flynn's original plans for the Mecha Sally Arc before the lawsuit hit. but other then that unless Penders went bust and gave the characters back to Archie, I don't think they'll return for good. and the reboot is doing alright for the most part, but only time will tell.

Kenny is Penders :P

Also if Archie Sonic can't commit to their roots and instead go and destroy everything that made it what it is today, the reboot will have little to no chance of survival.

Sorry, just haven't heard of people calling him that, most people would call him Kent, or Punkers, or the Pender Bender.

Right, though that would be with long time fans, they might have slow sales at the start, but my guess is sales will pick up when it's introduced to new readers or game fans. but that's a prediction, Chances are they might succeed with the new universe, chances are they won't.

And consider this in mind. If SEGA decided to change publishers, chances are they won't include any SatAM references or characters, they would probably start from scratch.

Though I wish SEGA of America would man up and take charge of Sonic from SEGA of Japan, since his popularity is failing in Japan, and S.O.A are possibly more lax when it comes to restrictions.
